Ok so a girl at the barn was asking me if I was on facebook and I was but didn't update it or get it going. So......now it's up and I'm up to date. Now I just need to figure out how to twitter.

Things fairly unchanged and just feeling alone and yucky overall. I've caught a stomach flu to make things even worse and had to cancel patients today. It's been going on since tuesday and I was spiking a fever today but low grade. I just hope I can maybe get to my patients tomorrow. Majic and Cody also needed teeth floated yesterday but the vet said otherwise they are doing well. Other than my baby actually being older than we thought. Vet said he thought he was 20 :( Well good thing is he doesn't act like an old man. It just hurts becuase I feel that the main ones who really trully care for me and if I was here or not are getting pretty old. Sure people would be suprised but there's a difference between feeling like an integral part of someone's life and just being around. Well don't freak out, I'm not planning anything like that just using my blog to write what I feel. Well, at least most horses live to about 30-35. Anyway, I guess just feeling sick and yucky overall but hope it'll get by soon.

update

Ok so Mike said I needed to update my blog so here it is. I wouldn't say things are signficantly better but they are getting better. I am finding joy in life again, especially horseback riding and spending time with my little man. I am getting more involved in things too. Found a barbie group and still involved in my HOA board. Running is still not going well though. Weather, nike +, and hills are not helping with my motivation. I'm still thinking of getting a treatmill and I'm hoping we can afford one in the near future. Speaking of finance. That's still not going as well as we would like. Mike's job is no longer on schedule for the pay raises to get him level at where he's supposed to be so he's still essentially a wal-mart greeter. I've been able to pick up extra patients and work extra but there's still a deficit. Luckily we still have money in the account from the retention and severence. Just not quite where we were thinking we would be a few months ago. Still hurts extras like cruise and treadmill, etc. I am hoping something will turn around somehow and at least we'll be able to join the family on the cruise in May. I'm praying to the cruise and treadmill gods :). But am not holding my breath. Other than that not too much new stuff going on. Hope everyone is doing well!

Ok...chalk one more to my bad luck...Carolina looses to Florida. Good news is that Bingamton is going to NCAA games though.

Ok this is a rant/vent post so, warning, if you are not in the mood i suggest you stop reading now..................

I just have to say that it's been a long time since I've wanted to throw in the towel as much as I do over the past few days. I've never really beleived in Friday the 13 until this month. First of all, I was going to be very busy that day and then was running a little late. Well got into the jeep and went to start the car.....try again......click click click! Yea that's right. Jeep=dead. SUPRISE! Nothing was left on, plugged in, or anything. Mike thinks it's either battery, starter, or alternator! Great! Yea, that's right mike still isn't making much. Well my fun doesn't end there, there was various interesting activities that happened during the day and then sitting on the couch at 7 pm I was eating dinner and broke a FRONT tooth!!!! SERIOUSLY. Friday night at 7 pm. WHere the heck are you gonna go. I just had a cleaning and thumbs up on Wed so was very shocked. Well found a dentist and went in today but broke it too bad and need a crown. Guy said there was 4 different people with the same c/o today that broke a tooth on Friday. I'm just so tired overall. Mike's job situation is still very crappy, it's been rainy yesterday and supposed to go until Monday, not doing well with running and Mi doesn't work anyway so what does it matter, etc.. I ordered some dolls thanks to barbie's birthday and they were supposed to be delivered yesterday according to UPS tracking but of course they never came. Exercise is just really not going well either. I don't know if it's the hills or my asthma or what but weather and hills just not helping. I did see a really nice treadmill at dicks and was thinking we could get it soon but now thanks to tooth problem and mike's job that's not gonna happen anytime soon. Mike's job was looking better there for a while but then fell through. At least there's basketball season right now. So I hope everyone else is doing well but I'm looking for some good liquor. Jack and Magic help but I swear if I was an animal I would already have dug my hole. I'm just really exhausted. I was looking forward to maybe going to the beach this w/e for a race but that fell through. The cruise fell through (not that we could afford it realistically at this point), and I don't even want to go to any races anymore. No real interest to go to St. Paddy day celebrations. Like I said, I'm just tired.

What the heck?!

Well today has been a gorgous 70-80 deg weather day and boy have we taken advantage of it! First Sandy and I went for a run and we tried a taping technique for shin splints but didn't work and just didn't have the best of runs but not bad either. Bad thing is where is my run?! Freaking NIke + deleated it again! yes again! I don't know what happened to it but I have no history saved and so can't upload. Afterwards to a shower and then went to the barn. Great trail ride and boys got to have a bath. Tonight Mike and I also played a game of tennis which was fun but he's still out of shape and only lasted a little bit. Bad thing is now I'm sitting here paying for not putting sun screen on today :(

Freakin Nike +

Ok so several things to blog about today but first is the most frusterating!!!!!! I'm glad you are loving the nike + Gail but I'm so mad today. I did a great 3.10 mile run/walk in 40 min with avg of 13min/mile and guess what!?! It's GONE. When I uploaded my runs, my mi lost my last TWO runs. SO my mi is mad but it's her own fault. I just feel so frusterated that those runs don't count in my nike + standings. At least I've got a running training log started. :( plus i had shin splints again today.
Other personal news is March is def coming in as a Lion. We have had several inches of snow and there is still snow outdoors and even some ice. My poor boys have been stalled and were pretty crazy the other day bucking up a storm in the ring. Bad thing is it rained Friday night, all day Sat, all day Sunday, snow and cold Monday, and cold today and today. Good thing is that this w/e is going to be near 70 deg. What I can't get over is how much my boy is sheding!!!!! It was in the tens the other night and he's loosing his hair!!!! Well the days ARE getting longer. Mother nature is supposed to know what's going on so I'll just trust that. I don't have a popsicle horse. Other good thing is I guess March is supposed to leave like a lamb.
Ok now the interesting world/nation news: 1. WHO the heck does Jeff Eldridge think he is. Happy Birthday barbie, we want you to be BANNED in west virginia!!!! I think this is hilarious. Apparently she influences girls to vaulue physical beauty over intellect and emotion. Never mind she's been a doctor, teacher, heck even president!!! Plus she's dumped that looser ken before. She's a bad a** rocker, owned her own mansions, clothes, jeawlry and designers fight over what she'll wear. Stuff it Eldridge. SHe's turning 50 on Monday and I"m sure she'll be around for another 50 years still winning gold medals at the olympics, going to the moon, joining every branch of the military, and many more accomplishments. Stop pretending to be Bush and get your head on real items. Remember those pesky problems like unemployment, depression, poor healthcare, environment. NO...apparently barbie is what the big problem is! Pluse aren't we in a depression! Aren't we supposed to be SPENDING money. Who cares if it's on porn! We need money circulating and A LOT of money gets spent on barbie. Trust me, I know. Just ask Mike ;) He must be a republican ;OP Plus I guess this means GI joe and "manly" toys need to be banned since it sends the message to boys that being macho is more improant than being a gentleman.
2.) other news: Mom, I found the solution for calming Keiko. Put her in a bong! LMAO. I almost died when I read this. Are you serious. Stuffing your cat in a BONG!!!!! Apparently "Shadow" needed to relax because she was too hyper. She's 6 mo!!!! Of course she's hyper. It's really not funny and I feel bad for the cat but at the same time. LOL. Luckily the cat was only "dazed" and they are charging the guy with animal crulty.
